A true masterpiece of rarity and refinement
Cask #LD2801 yielding just 438 bottles
"It's rare to get a Bourbon Cask from LARK and the reason I selected this cask as a Single Cask Release is that it explores this incredible richness of flavour; stewed peach, apricot with this amazing vanilla cream. A very refined whisky, incredibly easy drinking and the thickness and lusciousness of this whisky is just something else." - Chris Thomson
Unearthed from deep within our Tasmanian bond stores, Single Cask #LD2801 is a masterpiece of rarity and refinement—an exclusive celebration of nature, nurture, and nuance. Drawn from a single American Oak Bourbon Cask, this limited rare expression is a striking example of how one barrel, guided by the seasoned hand of LARK’s Master Distiller Chris Thomson, can shape something truly unforgettable.
Crafted under the watchful eye of Master Distiller Chris Thomson, this rare Tasmanian single malt whisky was distilled in June 2018 and nurtured in cask #LD2801, developing remarkable depth and character.
