It’s a 45 minute guided tasting designed to introduce guests to Tasmanian single malt whisky, taking you through the grain to glass journey using three whisky samples.

This experience is ideal for beginners, casual whisky drinkers, or anyone curious about understanding flavour, production, and Tasmanian whisky culture.

What whiskies will I taste?
You’ll taste three Tasmanian whisky samples, including whisky drawn straight from the cask, showcasing the impact if each cask on the spirit.

Where is the tasting held?
The tasting takes place at The Still, LARK’s dedicated whisky and cocktail bar at 30 Argyle Street, Hobart.

How much does it cost?
Tickets are $89 per person.

What days and times is it offered?
Sessions run at 1pm every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Do I need whisky knowledge beforehand?
Not at all — this tasting is crafted specifically for newcomers and those wanting a simple, approachable introduction.

Do I receive a discount on whisky purchases?
Yes — you’ll receive a 10% discount on bottles purchased at The Still. (Excludes Rare Cask and certain Limited Releases.)

How is this tasting different from the Welcome to LARK experience?
