20ml Black Tea Syrup
10ml Lemon Juice
Lemon peel (garnish)
Soda (to top)

Fire Trail High Ball

Build all ingredients in a tall glass over ice. Top with soda and garnish with a lemon peel coin.

Black Tea Syrup · Steep 5g (or 2 tea bags) of black tea in 300ml boiling water for 5 minutes. · Remove the tea bags or strain out leaves. · Add 150g white sugar to the hot tea and stir until fully dissolved.

Flavour Profile

Vibrant citrus, vanilla, baked apricots, subtle cedarwood and baked fruit meet the depth of Port and Sherry casks, balanced by the subtle savoury note of applewood smoked water. A vibrant, flavour-forward expression.

Wood Profile

Aged in rare Port & Sherry casks. Finished in ex Bourbon and American Oak wine casks.

Nose

Baked pears with golden caramel, vibrant citrus and a delicate wisp of cedarwood.

Taste

Chocolate ganache over stewed mulberries, layered with vanilla custard and apricot compote.

Finish

Dark cocoa-kissed hazelnuts meet velvety coconut cream, while luscious sultanas mingle with bush honey.

Behind the Whisky

Distilled at our Pontville Distillery, Fire Trail is crafted using our signature applewood smoked water and the LARK cask seasoning program. Aged in rare Port and Sherry casks, finished in ex-Bourbon and American Oak wine casks.

The LARK Cask Seasoning Program — created using Australian PX (Pedro Ximenez), Apera (Sherry) and Muscadelle — imparts the sweetness and Christmas pudding flavours that define our signature house style.
