AWARDED THREE PRESTIGIOUS DOUBLE GOLD MEDALS
We’re incredibly proud to share LARK's standout performance at the 2025 San Francisco World Spirits Competition - one of the most respected and competitive global stages for spirits worldwide.
This year, three of our expressions were each awarded the prestigious Double Gold, with two receiving an exceptional score of 96 points; including the rare Earth 01 Single Cask release, a truly delicate dram showcasing the luscious earthy peat and delicate florals that LARK are renowned for.
A Double Gold is awarded only when every judge on the panel unanimously scores the spirit as Gold - a rare and remarkable honour. To receive three in a single year is a true milestone for our team and our craft.
Earth 01 – Moss Hopper (Double Gold – 96)
Release 01 from the Earth Chapter, "The Moss Hopper", celebrates LARK's Central Highland peat marsh, and its endemic froglet. Yielding just 368 bottles from single cask #LD4825, this whisky features distinctive Tasmanian floral peat, ripe cherries, honeysuckle, and chocolate notes.
Tasmanian Peated (Double Gold – 96)
A wonderfully warming drop for the bold palate, where earthy peat and delicate florals transport you to the untamed. Enjoy neat by the crackle of a roaring fire, or elevate your favourite cocktail with a delicate touch of smoke.
Chinotto Citrus Cask (Double Gold – 95)
Inspired by the pioneering spirit of Tasmania, where risk is in the water. Finished in casks hand seasoned with vibrant chinotto citrus. Candied citrus peels, vibrant cola and buttery malt developing towards soft orange custard with a dusting of cinnamon.
We’re also thrilled to share that our latest DARK LARK 2025 Limited Release took home gold with 92 points, alongside our iconic Classic Cask, also scoring 92 points.

DARK LARK 2025 (Gold – 92)
DARK LARK is a distillation of Tasmania’s untamed beauty and bold creative spirit. Crafted at our Bothwell Distillery, this ultra-smooth single malt whisky layers ripe papaya and maple-glazed almonds with juicy berry compote and sticky fig pudding.
Classic Cask (Gold – 92)
Based on the original recipe from founder and Pioneer Bill Lark, and a whisky home to countless awards and international medals. Double-distilled & aged in a considered selection of small casks, this is a labour of love steeped in heritage. The benchmark for Tasmanian Single Malt.
