The 2026 Fire Horse Edition
This year’s limited edition, featuring artwork from Sydney-based artist Chris Yee, reflects journeys of connection. Waves of water and fire subtly form the spirit of the Fire Horse, symbolising energy, and movement, while wooden textures honour the casks. Cradle Mountain anchors the scene, while flight paths trace in the night sky as a nod to migration, tradition, and the lines that bring us home.
A symbol of power and perseverance, the Fire Horse brings with it a year of unyielding spirit and connection. Matured in small first-fill sherry and port casks, and finished in Seppeltsfield Tawny barrels, this exclusive Tasmanian Single Malt embodies great depth and rich viscosity, capturing the fire and elegance of its namesake.
The nose opens with soft pear blossom and sweet honeyed tea, unfolding into rich caramel and roasted quince. The palate reveals layers of orange spiced cake and apricot compote, intertwined with juicy dried raisins, treacle sponge pudding, and tender red dates. A warm, chestnut-hued spirit, it finishes with hazelnut praline, glazed fruits, subtle new leather, and whispers of highland peat smoke – an ode to Tasmania’s wild, rugged beauty.
