DISCOVER DARK LARK
Introducing Dark Lark No.166
Every year, Dark Lark invites you into a uniquely Tasmanian experience – one that only exists after the sun goes down. In 2026, the story goes deeper. New packaging. The same extraordinary spirit. And a whisky that continues to define what it means to craft a Single Malt from the edge of the world.
This whisky glows with the warmth of Tasmania after dark.
BORN OF CONTRAST AND CHARACTER
Dark Lark Special Edition
Dark Lark returns in June 2026, a celebration of Tasmania after dark.
A place where shadows stir and creativity awakens.
Reimagined this year in our bold new packaging and presented in the striking matte black 700ml bottle, Dark Lark is as delicious as ever, a whisky of contrast and character. Indulgent richness drawn from fortified casks meets a vibrant, tropical lift, creating a spirit that is both silky and electric.
Glowing with the warmth of Tasmania after dark, it is bold, majestic and made for nights that pulse with possibility. The perfect entry point for the whisky curious, an invitation to discover LARK.
DARK LARK NO.166
An Overview
Fortified casks bring dark fruit, sticky figs and spiced syrup, while delicate shortbread and wild strawberry unfold into soft honey.
On the nose, it opens with delicate lemon shortbread and wild strawberry, slowly unfurling into blackcurrant jam and orchid blossom.
On the palate, the whisky reveals its full character: berry custard and espresso gelato at first, then a deepening into dark chocolate covered cherries and sticky figs suspended in spiced syrup. The fortified casks bring dark fruit and richness. Then, a tropical brightness that is unexpected yet a delight for the tastebuds.
The finish lingers long and golden – peach crumble and almond meringue giving way to toasted marzipan and soft honey. The kind of finish that makes you reach for the glass again.
