Flavour Profile

Fragrant oak, smooth mocha, brandy snaps and fruit compote. Revealing scorched red fruit, almond fudge and rich chocolate. Powerful yet perfectly balanced.

Wood Profile

Aged in first-fill vintage Port and Sherry casks from Seppeltsfield. Finished in ex Bourbon and American Oak wine casks.

Nose

Stewed plums steeped in wildflower honey, scorched orange and roasted pecans dusted with delicate cacao.

Taste

Dark chocolate over sun-drenched blackberries, balanced by caramel fondant and perfectly charred peaches touched with refined peat smoke.

Finish

Old oak deepens into burnt maple syrup, with sticky toffee pudding and toasted sesame brittle leaving a lasting warmth.

Founded in 1992 by Bill and Lyn Lark, LARK Distillery is a pioneer of the modern Australian whisky movement. Nestled in the heart of Tasmania, LARK was the first licensed distillery in the state in over 150 years, sparking a revival that has since positioned Tasmania as a world-renowned whisky region, a place we call the super-climate of whisky production.

With over three decades of innovation, craft, and unwavering commitment to quality, LARK has cemented it's place as one of the most prestigious, internationally recognised distilleries throughout the world.

Behind the whisky

Distilled at our Cambridge Distillery, Devil's Storm is crafted using applewood smoked water and Tasmanian peat, with the LARK cask seasoning programme at its heart.

Aged in first-fill vintage Port and Sherry casks from Seppeltsfield, finished in ex-Bourbon and American Oak wine casks. The Devil's Storm Cask Seasoning Programme uses Seppeltsfield Tawny Port, some over 100 years old, alongside Australian PX (Pedro Ximénez), Apera (Sherry) and Muscadelle, delivering intense sweetness underpinned by leather and tobacco notes.
