Set amongst meticulously restored historical buildings, lies Tasmania’s only working whisky village and the iconic new home of Australia’s oldest and most innovative single malt whisky distiller.
Thirty minutes north of Hobart, the new iconic home of Australia’s oldest single malt whisky resides in buildings that date back to the early 1800s. Take a tour of the distillery and discover the magic of distillation, join us in the cellar door for a tasting and sample Lark whisky or Forty Spotted gin, make a memory to last a lifetime, blending your own distinct bottle of single malt whisky or just come and wander the historical property and be inspired by the beauty of the landscape and the architecture.
Pontville Distillery is open 11am
Friday to Sunday over the winter period, with tours commencing at 1pm on those days. The new Lark Distillery is an unmissable experience for whisky lovers and history buffs.
Pontville Distillery will be closed to the public for maintenance in September and will reopen on Friday 6th October. Our Pontville distillery will be open to the public Friday - Sunday from 11am - 4pm

THE NEW HOME OF AUSTRALIA’S OLDEST SINGLE MALT WHISKY
Set amongst meticulously restored historical buildings, lies Tasmania’s only working whisky village and the iconic new home of Australia’s oldest and most innovative single malt whisky distiller.
Tours run Wednesday to Sunday at 1pm and cost $69 per person. Commencing the 19th June, tours will run Friday - Sunday at 1pm through to the end of August.
On this fun and informative whisky adventure, you will dive a little deeper into the art and science of whisky and discover some of the secrets to making truly great single malt whisky.
You’ll also get to taste some great Lark whisky along the way!
FUSE BLENDING EXPERIENCE



A whisky experience like no other
The Fuse experience takes place at our new Pontville Distillery on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Set amongst meticulously restored historical buildings, lies Tasmania’s only working whisky village and the iconic new home of Australia’s oldest and most innovative single malt whisky distiller.
Fuse is a whisky experience unlike any other and the chance create something bespoke and truly your own.
Under the guidance of a Lark whisky specialist this is a rare opportunity to draw from a selection of the finest casks in our bond stores and create something entirely new – a fusion of whisky as unique as you.
