How to make a Slàinte Rusty Nail - A Tasmanian Twist on a Classic

HOW TO MAKE A LARK SLÀINTE RUSTY NAIL - OUR TWIST ON THE CLASSIC

The Rusty Nail is the ultimate, classic whisky cocktail. It's extremely simple to make, often with blended malts, however you can use any single malt for this!

For decades the Rusty Nail was a cocktail everyone had in hand during their post dinner celebrations. Today it's fallen off most cocktail lists, however for the enthusiast this is a classic still worth of their finest malt whiskies.

We'd like to introduce you to our very own Groups Venue Manager, Niall. One who brings as much character to our in-venue experiences, than he does in this video. He has a plethora of recipes under his belt and this one he'd love to share with you!

All it takes is some of our Symphony Nº1 Blended Malt and Slàinte Whisky Liqueur, shaken well and strained over a block of ice alongside an orange peel.

SLÀINTE RUSTY NAIL INGREDIENTS

45ml Symphony Nº1 Blended Malt Whisky
30ml Slàinte Whisky Liqueur
Dash of Bitters
Orange Peel for Garnish

Simply add the Symphony Nº1, Slàinte Whisky Liqueur and bitters in a shaker. Fill with ice and shake well. Strain the liquid over a large block of ice and garnish with an orange zest. - Slàinte Mhaith!
