Devil’s Storm has always been a whisky of contrast. Tasmanian peat meets fortified sweetness. Rich depth meets velvet delicacy. At cask strength, those contrasts shine at a new level.

Behind the whisky

Distilled at our Cambridge Distillery, Devil’s Storm has always been a whisky of contrasts. Tasmanian peat smoke meets rich fortified-cask sweetness. Dark fruit meets spice. Depth meets delicacy. At Cask Strength, those contrasts become even more pronounced.

The Devil’s Storm Cask Seasoning Program draws on Seppeltsfield Tawny Port, some over 100 years old, alongside Australian PX (Pedro Ximénez), Apera (Sherry) and Muscadelle casks. Together, they build layers of intense sweetness, complemented by rich notes of leather and tobacco.

Bottled at 55% Cask Strength, No.187 retains more of the character developed during maturation, delivering a fuller and more intense experience in the glass.

Enjoy it neat to experience its depth and complexity, or add a few drops of water to gradually open the whisky and reveal layers of dark cocoa, black cherry and roasted hazelnut, leading into a long, warming finish of caramelised pineapple, clove and lingering Tasmanian peat.

A deeper expression of Devil’s Storm. Bottled at its full strength.
